Kangana Ranaut “Tejas” Faces Controversy as Actor Mayank Madhur Raises Concerns

As anticipation builds for Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie “Tejas,” the film finds itself embroiled in a brewing controversy involving actor Mayank Madhur. With the release date approaching, the movie’s producers are grappling with unexpected issues that threaten to overshadow its debut.

The Unfolded Controversy

“Tejas,” directed by Sarvesh Mewara, charts the compelling journey of Air Force pilot Tejas Gill, offering viewers a riveting cinematic experience. Scheduled for release in October, the film faces the challenge of competing with Tiger Shroff’s action-packed “Ganapath” at the box office.

However, amidst the excitement surrounding the movie, Mayank Madhur, an individual who claims to have contributed to the production, has raised serious concerns. According to Mayank, the producers not only significantly reduced his role but also failed to compensate him for his work.

Mayank shared his side of the story with Bollywood Hungama, revealing that he was initially informed that his role in the film would last for a mere 15 minutes. Discontent grew as his role continued to diminish, culminating in a request to participate in a one- or two-minute shoot. He firmly declined, stating his lack of interest.

Promises Unfulfilled

Adding to the controversy, Mayank alleges that Kangana Ranaut, one of the prominent figures associated with the film, pledged to credit him as an associate producer in her project “Tiku Weds Sheru.” However, when the credits rolled, Mayank’s name found its place only in the “special thanks” section. This, he claims, was not in accordance with the promised arrangement.

Furthermore, Mayank insists that Sarvesh Mewara, the director, provided false assurances and that Kangana Ranaut initially committed to compensating him before the film’s release. However, the blame is now being shifted to the movie’s producers.

Frustrated by these unresolved matters, Mayank Madhur has taken a bold step by deciding to pursue legal action against those responsible. He has not disclosed the exact timing or the specific court he intends to approach but is determined to ensure that justice prevails. Mayank expressed his desire for the individuals behind these discrepancies to be held accountable for their actions.

Mayank stated, “That’s why I chose to go to court… Everything will be done in line with the law.” He has already consulted with legal experts and sought advice from prominent figures, including former Chief Justice of India, to navigate the legal course effectively. Mayank has also engaged with governmental bodies, including chief ministers, the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the home ministry, and other ministries, to expedite potential arrest warrants from multiple states.

Kangana’s Upcoming Directorial Venture

On another front, Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for her directorial project titled “Emergency.” The movie, where she portrays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, is scheduled to hit theaters on November 24. While Kangana remains focused on her directorial venture, the “Tejas” controversy casts a shadow over her current cinematic release.

The unfolding events surrounding “Tejas” emphasize the importance of transparency and accountability in the film industry. As the movie’s release date approaches, all eyes will be on the resolution of this controversy and the subsequent impact it may have on the film’s reception.
