NEET Answer Key 2023 Released PDF Download @neet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate (UG) 2023 on June 4. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can check and download the answer key through the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.

The answer key has been released for all the sets of the exam, which was conducted on May 7 and June 6. Candidates can challenge the answer key by paying a fee of Rs 200 per question. The challenge window will be open till June 6.

The final answer key will be released after the challenge period is over. The NEET UG 2023 result is expected to be announced in the third week of June.

The NEET UG is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in India. The exam is conducted by the NTA twice a year.

Subject: Challenge of Provisional Answer Key, OMR Answer Sheet Images, and Recorded Response – NEET (UG) – 2023

Dear Candidates,

We would like to inform you that the National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2023 on 7th May 2023 for a total of 2,087,449 candidates at 4,097 different centers located in 499 cities across India, including 14 cities outside the country. The examination took place from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST).

The NTA has now uploaded the Provisional Answer Keys, Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheets, and Recorded Responses for NEET (UG) – 2023 on the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/. These documents are available for candidates to challenge within the specified time period, as outlined below:

To assist you in the challenge process, a scanned image of the OMR Answer Sheet has been sent to the registered email addresses provided by the candidates during the submission of the Online Application Form for NEET (UG) – 2023. You now have the opportunity to make an online challenge against the Provisional Answer Key by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per answer challenged. Please note that this challenge period has a specified deadline, as mentioned above.

Additionally, you can also submit a representation against the OMR grading by paying a non-refundable processing fee of ₹ 200/- per question challenged.

For detailed information on the challenge process for the Answer Key and Recorded Responses, please refer to Annexure 1 and Annexure 2 enclosed with this communication.

Please ensure that the processing fee payment is made by 06 June 2023, up to 11:50 PM. You can use Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or Paytm as the mode of payment. Challenges will not be entertained without the receipt of the processing fee. Kindly note that challenges sent through any other mode will not be accepted.

How to Download the NEET UG 2023 Answer Key

Here are the steps on how to download the NEET UG 2023 answer key:

1. Go to the official website of NTA NEET at neet.nta.nic.in.
2. Click on the “Answer Key” tab.
3. Enter your registration number and date of birth.
4. Click on the “Submit” button.
5. The answer key will be displayed on the screen.
6. You can download the answer key in PDF format.

How to Challenge the NEET UG 2023 Answer Key

Here are the steps on how to challenge the NEET UG 2023 answer key:

1. Visit the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
2. Click on the “Apply for Answer Key Challenge(s)” option.
3. Choose the Test Booklet Code.
4. Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth, and enter the displayed Security Pin. Then, submit the information.
5. You will see the questions in sequential order for NEET (UG) – 2023, with 50 questions each for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
6. The number next to each question under the “Correct Option” column represents the most appropriate Answer Key according to the National Testing Agency (NTA).
7. If you wish to challenge any of the options, click the checkbox(es) corresponding to the option(s) you want to challenge, located in the next four columns.
8. You can also upload supporting documents by selecting “Choose File” and uploading all the documents as a single PDF file.
9. After selecting your desired option(s) for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology for NEET (UG) – 2023, click “Save your Claim” and proceed to the next screen.
10. A screen will appear displaying the challenges you have made.
11. Click on “Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally.”
12. Choose the mode of payment and pay a processing fee of ₹200/- for each question challenged. You can make the payment using a Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or Paytm.
13. After a successful payment, download and print the receipt for the Answer Key challenge.

How to Challenge OMR Answer Sheet Grading and Recorded Responses

The procedure for challenging the OMR answer sheet grading and recorded responses:

1. Visit the website https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
2. Log in using your Application Number and Date of Birth, and enter the displayed Security Pin. Then, submit the information.
3. In the left pane, select “OMR Challenge.”
4. Click on the OMR Challenge link.
5. You will see the questions in sequential order for NEET (UG) – 2023, with 50 questions each for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
6. Select the question(s) for which you wish to challenge the recorded response.
7. The number next to each question under the “Captured Response as per OMR Sheet” column indicates the option chosen by the candidates on their OMR answer sheets.
8. Once you select a question for the challenge, you will see three options under the “Candidate’s Claim” column.
9. If you wish to challenge the recorded response for a question, you can use the options provided in the “Candidate’s Claim” column.
10. After selecting your desired option for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology for NEET (UG) – 2023, scroll down, click “Submit,” and proceed to the next screen.
11. A screen will appear displaying your challenges.
12. Click on “Submit and Pay Fee Finally.”
13. Choose the mode of payment and pay a processing fee of ₹200/- for each question/grade challenged. You can make the payment using a Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or Paytm.
14. After a successful payment, download and print the receipt for the OMR answer sheet challenge.

The NTA will review the challenges and make necessary changes to the answer key. The final answer key will be released after the challenge period is over.
